★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's an interactive museum about the most beloved emperor of Korea, King Sejong. The museum is placed under the Kings statue (the entrance is just behind the statue so it's easy to miss). The exhibition is ok but it's rather for kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even at 55% of the actual size, Admiral Yi Sunshin's Turtle ship strikes fear into the hearts of all that oppose the Joseon Dynasty.
Plan on shooting it with arrows? You can't, because it has a roof. Plan on boarding it? You can't, because THE ROOF HAS SPIKES. You do not fight a turtle ship. You retreat, and tell your general that you need a better boat.
Did I mention the dragon head? IT HAS A DRAGON HEAD. Time travelers beware, this is not a Turtle Ship to be messed with.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A worthy place to visit before heading to the Palace. If you admire King Sejong and Admiral Yi Sun-Shin, this is a must place to visit. They are very concise and detailed in their explanations in cotemporary Korean history.
I easily spent 3 hours there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The entrance is at the rear of the statue of King Sejon, down some stairs to an impressive display of the life and times of this famous, influential ruler. Displays feature his " inventions" ( rainguage, multi-arrow launcher, sundial and significantly the Korean alphabet and language). Its really educational and I was sad to leave after almost 2 hours.
