★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even during the cold winter weather, Cheonggyecheon is a nice little place to visit away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Actually, it might be better to come here during the winter as there aren't many people around and no pesky mosquitoes. That is, if you can bear being a little cold;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place. Always so lively and has a lot of events. Definitely visit during lantern festival in Autumn and Buddha Birthday in May. A very serene walk along the stream. Amazing cafes and restaurants nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is hard to believe that this beautiful place used to be a dumping site in the past. The Seoul government completely transformed this place and made it into a favorite place among both locals and tourists. You can come here in summer to cool yourself down. Lantern festivals are organized here. You need to visit this place when you visit Seoul.

but now turned into a clean area and become one of the destinations of tourists visiting seoul
