Best Resort hotel in korea

S	Steven Amador on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good cheap jjimjilbang. Good clean room. Have stayed here many times alone for ski trips at the jjimjilbang. Recently I stayed in a "Willow 21" room with a bed. The room had a nice view of the little creek, and had a nice kitchenette compared to many condos I've stayed at. A loud announcement will let you know it is getting close to checkout time at 11 am. You should clean your room and place the trash outiside the door. At this price point, keeping your room clean is reasonable.
D	Dominic Tam on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room is big. Feel more like a cheap air bnb than a hotel. The hotel do provide free shuttle van to and from the Mountain Station. However, unless you are driving, there is no direct access to the hotel via public transport. You can catch a snow bus from Seoul but then have to change the ski shuttle to mountain station and then change hotel shuttle. If you catch a train, then you will have to catch a taxi or catch a ski shuttle and then hotel shuttle. In short, it is not convenient as the hotel shuttle is not frequent (1 to 3 hours interval) and the is no restaurant in or near the hotel. There is a convenient store only and while there is a kitchen, there is not much food you can buy to cook. There is a ski store at the hotel which provide ski hire cheaper than the High 1. Apart from the cheaper room rate and cheaper ski hire, I don't see any reason why anyone would stay in this hotel. But then again it is a lot cheaper than living in High 1.
C	Conrad Hutchings on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed in a double twin for 3 days. Has 2 twin beds, spring beds, from the 60s. (for real). Opted to sleep on the floor with the floor mat - was actually more comfortable. Heat resets to 30c whenever you leave the room. Prepare yourself to come back to a sauna every time you leave. At least you can open the balcony door and super cool the place. Balcony is filthy, years of smokers spitting and no one cleaning has left it inhabitable. Maybe the cleaning staff doesn't get paid enough... ? I don't think our bed sheets were fresh - had dust and hairs on them. Entire place is in pretty poor condition. Stains on walls and counters ,etc. Given only 4 small towels, Took a while to get 4 more (I suppose it is peak season and everyone and their mothers are asking for towels). Wifi is spotty. Used my hotspot. TV is a CRT tv from 1995. Has a Kitchenette with cooking utensils and a fridge! Nice to be able to cook your own food. (ramen lol). Noise bleeds pretty loudly, especially from above - people moving furniture all night. Can hear everyone in hall. Plenty of outlets all over the place - bonus. Parking spots are quite narrow. Korea. Pillows were more comfortable than your standard love motel. Was pleasantly surprised by that. Price was like 50$ a nice so.... all the negatives aside, its pretty much worth 50$ a night being so close to the slope. Like a 3minute drive to our season lockers - pretty sweet. It also has a shuttle bus if you'd rather not drive. 2 stars cause this place is pathetically old and needs a renovation. But worth the price and location.
N	Nippon Fraser on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great for the price but you get what you pay for... We stayed 8 nights here snowboarding at High1 and the location couldn’t be any better. Free shuttle from the hotel to the lifts was easy and convenient. There’s also a on site equipment rental however there’s tons of them leading up to the slopes and they’re probably cheaper. Room is spacious and clean but the furniture was worn out and old as other reviewers mentioned but that wasn’t a deal breaker...you get what you pay for ? WiFi wasn’t working initially, but went to the front desk and the maintenance guy had it running quickly and it was lighting fast after that. Kitchen was stocked with plates, cutlery, rice maker, and a two burner stove but no microwave and no oven so be prepared for that. There’s microwaves in the GS25 though so no big deal. Overall great hotel for a family of four, two kids and adults.

양	양호윤 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ok but needs a redo. No atmosphere like you get in Britain. Rooms wrong shape. Too long, need to be squarer. Only 500! Dog poo near entrance. I have lots dogs and ran dog pension 5 yrs and that is vital job. Staff not interested. I guess big Co! N
A	Andre De Klerk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Oak room is very spacious and the fact that the bedroom is separate from the lounge is very convenient. The kitchen is small but sufficient for self catering purposes. The bathroom is nice clean and there is a nice shower. Bring your own soap, shampoo etc. as unlike every where else in Korea this is not provided. It is nice and close to High1 ski resort.
