★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sun Cruise Resort & Yacht is a hotel resort in Jeongdongjin on the east coast of South Korea. Designed in the image of a cruise ship, notably the Royal Caribbean International Sovereign Class, the hotel is 165 metres (541 ft) long and 45 metres (148 ft) tall and overlooks the beach resort. It is believed to be the first of its kind in the world.
Built at the top of a large cliff, the hotel looks out over the sea and gives the impression that a cruise ship has run aground.
The hotel has 211 rooms, including bedrooms and apartments, and six function rooms. There are six restaurants serving Korean and European food and a rotating bar on the top floor. Sporting facilities include a netted golf range, volleyball court, and a fitness club. The cruise ship theme is emphasised by the sound of crashing waves played on speakers throughout the hotel and the use of salt water in the swimming pool.
The resort also contains a park located adjacent to the hotel. Prominent within the landscaped gardens are "The Hands of Promise", two giant hands rising from the ground, along with a variety of other sculptures. There is also an observation area with a glass floor suspended above the sea, an exhibition hall, and a lake.
In 2003 the Titanic hotel, a construction with a similar cruise-ship theme, opened in Turkey.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hate to give this place only 3-stars after my last visit but i was a little disappointed in the room i had. I paid while over $200 for the room and it didn't even come with a bathtub. And the tv didn't have too many channels on it either. The overall quality of the room i had wasn't what i was expecting. With that being said, the time before that I had a great room to include a bathtub. I don't know what happened this time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down the best hotel in Korea. I been staying in multiple hotels in Korea with my family and this one is the best so far. The space, the area, is very unique, the cleanliness, private pool in some of the room, private beach, the area of the hotel to explore, to many things. We love this hotel and we can wait to go back. We was able to sleep with the door open of the balcony and hear the wave was so relax. Enough towels for a family of 4. The duplex suite have 2 bed and 2 full bathrooms. The lunch and dinner at the hotel was not the best but the breakfast buffet is excellent and reasonable price. I definitely recommend it to anyone who coming to Korea. I want to get the room with the heated pool next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room is decent and clean, but definitely not one of the best. The bathroom was not too nice. There were a number of things I didn't like.
1. There is no way to go to the beach directly from the resort. You need to drive back down to the beach, find parking, and there are no shower facilities at the beach
2. No breakfast included by default(need to pay an additional 17,000 won per person)
3. Need to pay additional fees to use the pool(20,000 won per person)
4. But mostly, too many warning signs throughout the resort that mention what you can't do and about additional charges for not complying with the regulations. It doesn't make guests feel welcome as if the resort is doing a favor to let you stay when you are spending $$$$ of your own money. I definitely will not come here again.
I would give this a one star, but I'm giving it two because of the view from the room(although I didn't get any nice view due to the thick haze during my stay).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel has a fantastic view and great photo spot areas. Staff were really helpful. Even though rooms are clean and has great views but bathrooms needs to be renovated. It looks bit old. Room has no complimentary water bottle or coffee bags not even indoor slippers provided . Wi-Fi connection was too weak. I am giving 5 star for the view and 3-4 star for the hotel facilities .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We actually didn't stay at this place but we stopped by the sculpture park, It was little run down but it was definitely worth a visit.
They do charge you $5 for visitors but you get a full refund if you use the ovservation deck or the restaurant, i got a coffee at the ovservation deck
Also worth a visit, wife got a headache with all the motion but i didn't mind too much.
