★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not very clean and very basic facilities compared to the Korean standard. First time for me to find no shampoo in the rooms. Lamps were full of dust and even the nice mountain view is restricted to specific angle

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ High Castle Resort is an abomination with out-dated safety equipment, unsanitary facilities, faulty heating systems. I would not recommend this hotel (or resort, as they like to call themselves) to anyone.
Highlights:
- Shower door wont open from the inside due to handle missing
- Heater would not work (mind you, this was in February, -12 Celsius)
- Table has food stains from previous tenants
- Shower has band-aids from previous tenants
- Sheets/pillows littered with hair from previous tenants
- Emergency Descending Equipment has rust all over
- Phone in room doesn't work
- Fridge had a layer of dust
When I inquiring about the faulty heater, they initially sent a guy up to try and fix it for around 30 minutes. Once he failed I went to the front desk to ask for a refund, but the worker said he had no authority to give out refunds, thus resorting to a room "upgrade"; please do note that I repeatedly said I did not want an upgrade, but rather a full refund.
I wont go into further detail for the specifics of my horrible experience at High Castle, but I'd like people to know that when I asked for a refund the following day to the manager I was told to "follow the legal procedure" and sue them because they felt like they provided more than enough service for what I paid.
