Great hotel in the business center of Gangnam. Small, but modern rooms, great stuff, awesome breakfasts. Also great view from the hotel restaurant at the floor 22.

I have had a 6-night staying in this hotel, and every aspect was perfect! Nice location, perfect service and all the staffs have good command in English! Sure to be back again.

Nice hotel with super friendly staff. A young man's dream come true with the Starship Enterprise in the lobby and multiple figurines , life sized and bite-sized alike. Plenty of unique art sculptures and pieces all around the hotel with a quaint sized rooftop terrace. Walking distance (3 min strolling)to COEX and Starfield Mall. Would be great for a conference guest at COEX.

A fairly new hotel. Clean rooms with cozy bed. Has a practical layout albeit standard twin room is a bit small. Very close to COEX Convention centre and mall. Bonguensa subway station within 2 minutes walking distance.

There are problems with hotel staffing. One of the front desk staff members is rude and he tried to charge 40000 KRW extra (10000 per day). I booked on Agoda a late check in after 7 pm reservation for multiple consecutive days. It is common sense and written in the reservation contract that there is one check in and one check out time if it is a multiple day stay. If I didn’t pay the extra fees, he claimed I would need to check out every day and check in again after 7 pm. It is due to the hotel’s promotion policy he claimed, however, this policy cannot be found anywhere in writing or on their website. He was trying to charge me more because I had booked a discounted rate and I was a foreign traveler without Korean language ability. I checked in later at 11 pm with a different front desk staff who this time tried to charge me 6000 KRW per day but allowed fees waived after informing him that it is very unreasonable and against booking contract. Later I rebooked online with the same promotion, and the staff requires me to check out and move to a lower floor because they were shutting down electricity on this floor - however I believe it is because I booked the discounted rate with late check in, because the staff claimed if I booked the regular reservation, I do not need to check out again. Since it is a stay with consecutive days, it is reasonable and polite to allow the same room without requiring guest to pack everything and check out every day, and other hotels allow this. If there is a problem with discounted rates, it is the hotel’s responsibility to charge higher through the third party and not through the guest directly. Additional comments: - Extra charges for bathroom amenities and water that are commonly provided free of charge at other hotels - however, hotel staff isn’t even aware of this pricing and waived it - Restaurant is pricey - Rooftop has scenic views - Facilities are newer - No luggage storage room - my luggage was placed in public view in the lobby - The ceilings don’t follow the modern style of the rest of the hotel - they are garage/basement style with gray concrete and no appealing light furnishings - Staff opens door several times even with do not disturb signal on - Bed is comfortable - Extra charges for bath lounge usage - No gym I believe the cost ($80) is high for only standard hotel services ($50 is more appropriate), but it is a new building. The issues are with inappropriate charging outside of booking contract - extra charges aren’t written, and the charges that are written for amenities aren’t enforced.

Beautiful accommodations for a great price. The garden on the roof is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the view, and the floor below that is the restaurant with equally good food and views. Very helpful staff, English friendly.
