★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first time to Korea. The hotel is really great. The place has like really well arrange 1 bedroom apartment style rooms. Super well thought of. Everything is available such as a stove, chimney, microwave, all the possible cutlery, AC, separate bedroom which can be closed, a kitchen area, bathtub etc...
Stayed here for 4 days well deserved. It's close to a lot of good restaurants and eating places it's close to a palace as well can't remember the name though. While I was here the temperature was -11°C and the rooms are really warm. Good short business stay during December week before Christmas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved our experience here in 2014. It had everything we needed to feel at home over 5 weeks, including a kitchenette. The rooms are large, bright and roomy. They have a play area for small children my kids enjoyed. The location is great with easy access to public transportation, restaurants and amusements. The morning complimentary breakfast had Western/Eastern options. My husband still raves about the Korean soups and salads for breakfast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a lovely stay here. Room is spacious and clean. Some of the facilities available in my room which I loved are the washing machine, microwave and the iron board. For Muslims, they provided the Kiblat which is very convenient. They also have a gym, pool table and chess tables. If you need to buy something, there's a 24/7 convenience store downstairs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great price and even better location. Booked a regular suite and ended up with a presidential suite instead. The reason for the upgrade was that the host at the reception desk took a long while to find my reservation and decided to upgrade me for the wait.
The location has to be one of the best in Seoul. Gyeongbokgung Palace is across the street, several embassies are within a 5min walk and Insadong is right down the road. Surprisingly being located so close to a major road in Seoul it is very quiet in the rooms.
Breakfast was nothing too special, but it was delicious. There some really good restaurants within walking distance to the hotel.
Overall great experience and I willbe staying again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Somerset Palace is a very nice accomodation for foreigners who are visiting Seoul for short term, as well as long term. The staff is very, indeed very caring, and make all efforts to make a visitor feel homely. It is located near Insadong, which is a lively place, for locals as well as visitors. Language is no barrier with the staff. Almost everyone understands and speaks Korean as well as English. Nice place. And yes, it,s Serviced accomodation.
