Ramada Hotel and Suites Seoul Namdaemun

It is a nice place in a convenient location for a fair price (about $80.). They have an excellent breakfast buffet, with healthy choices. The rooms are very clean with good amenities. But if you are travelling with foreign electric goods, bring a converter. I have stayed here on three separate trips.

Price is good for sure. Is the staff welcoming enough? No Is the room comfy? No Is it worth going there on vacation? No Would they take your luggage from you? Big no Would they deliver luggage to room? Another big No. I stayed in a suite, it looked unclean and very gloomy. Checked out immediately. Enjoy your stay your opinion might be different. Horrible hotel.

It's a really nice hotel with great customer service. The beds are amazing!! So huge. The views in the room we stayed in were good, better at night but good overall. Worth the stay, only reason not all 5 stars is that it's kind of far from most things you want to do and the subway lines, but only 5min walk from the Seoul train station that will get you to and from the airport.

Rooms were comfortable. Cool how room is activated by the card key and you can control a/c from remote (super handy when you don't want to leave the bed). Would have been nice if they notified you of their complimentary breakfast. I found out on my last day stay.

Excellent! The Front Desk staffs were very helpful and kind. But, do not assume the Maids will follow the Door Sign, 'Do Not Enter'. All lodging facilities where I stayed in S. Korea maids did not care about the Door Sign! Do not leave valuable things in your room while n you are out, even for a few minutes. You may set-up your pc to record events in your room when you leave the room. Overall, this hotel was good.

Staff are friendly but the hotel is dated and room cleanliness, especially the bathroom could be improved on. The layout was odd as there was a desk and chair but I couldn't use it due to the couch. Three lamp lights didn't work in our room and had to call reception to remove two centipedes in our shower... Wifi has no signal so I couldn't even use it. I wouldn't stay here again.

Nice hotel. Nicely designed interior and rooms are well furnished. I've stayed here twice now. This time around I was not as pleased as before. In the bathroom I found a makeup pencil cap left from the previous guest and when I went to us the AC, it began leaking water all over the floor. I put a bucket underneath, and had to sleep to the persistent sound of dripping water. Also, my previous stay, there was a light inside the closet. This time around the light was taped over, so there was a loose light switch that appeared to turn on nothing. I only knew what it was meant to do from my previous stay. Little things like this add up to make the stay feel a but under the bar. Sidenote, the hotel uses sustainable soaps and lotions in the bathroom, and has a sign you can place on the door that state that the cleaning crew need not replace your towels and soaps. I put it up and the replaced everything...everyday for a week. Just inconsistent with the effort for sustainability by the hotel. But I like that they are actually willing to give me enough shampoo for the whole stay. Most hotels I stay at try to save money in this area. Aside from this maintenance issue, I had a decent stay. The front desk and maintenance crew are helpful, respectful and prompt. They also speak English well, which is definitely something I needed.

The room was nice, clean, and spacious. I liked the hardwood floors and the electric teapot. You get two free bottles of water too! I recommend getting the breakfast included with your stay. The breakfast was really great, which was weird because some reviews said it was not. I asked one of the servers about it and they said they recently changed the restaurant staff and really improved things and it shows. Make sure breakfast is included in you booking otherwise buying breakfast separately is 23000won (21$). The hotel is also really close to Seoul station, so getting from there to the airport is convenient and you can easily get to the subway too ( the walk is like 5 minutes) My only nitpick was the bath was a little small. I'm 6ft tall (183 cm) and I could not lie down in the bath :/ Other than that I would totally recommend this hotel.
