Best Authentic Japanese restaurant in korea

H	H Y on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food. The omakase went for almost 3 hrs so prepare to be seated for a long time. The ambience is a bit more casual than expected. The soju was great.

P	Pak DJ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a fantastic sushi place. Their fish selection will knock your socks off. Generally I am critical of the rice texture for the sushi restaurants in Korea and here it does not cure will but I didn’t care. Enjoyed a great feast.

Perfect combination of # of rice grain and sushi! Aged sushi is slightly different from fresh sushi in that it gives more refined silky textures and umami taste to it.

The selection of sushi was great - loved the fact that the amount of rice was just enough to be a sushi but not too much like to fill you up too quickly. The service was attentive and the chef did take time to explain what you were eating. I did find the speed a bit too quick, they had a large group in the rooms so they rushed their orders.

I would recommend that you go for sake pairing with your food too. If you are not sure, you can ask the chef to recommend. Best seat in the house is at the sushi bar. The servers are nice and friendly too.

I can see how it got featured in the Michelin Guide - nice atmosphere, a decent quality sushi, and professional chefs, just to name a few - but for the price, they could do much better. In particular, the male server who works for night shifts on weekdays could have been more polite and caring. I didn’t appreciate his nonchalant attitudes. It is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood, and the guy who did valet parking was friendly.
