김	김진성 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ -3차 성지순례중에 들린곳으로, 이곳은 1456년 사육신이 충절의피를 흘린곳이고,1801년 부터 1866년까지 주문 모 신부님을 비롯한 외국인 사제10명이 순교의 피를 흘리 셨고 ,한국인 으로 첫사제인 김대건 신부님이 순교하신곳으로 거룩한 순교성지이다 -한국의 첫사제의 마지막순교길로 김대건신부님 치명순교길 순례를 위해 미사에 참여했는 데 ,미사후 바로 성시간이 이어져 아주 좋았읍니다. -I stopped by during the 3rd pilgrimage to the Holy Land. This is the place where the blood of loyalty was shed in 1456. From 1801 to 1866, 10 foreign priests including Father Jumun shed the blood of martyrdom, and the first Korean priest. It is the holy place of martyrdom where Father Kim Dae-geon was martyred. - As the last martyr of Korea's first priest, I participated in the mass for Father Kim Dae-geon's pilgrimage to the deadly martyrdom, and it was very good that the holy hour continued right after the mass.

C	Chris Baker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came across this church purely by chance and what a place! Short walking, for my long legged family, distance from Yongsan Electronics Market & Yongsan station. Saenamteo is known as a place where Roman Catholic Belivers were executed during 19C Joseon dynasty. Korean Catholic church named Saenamteo as Martyr's Shrine in 1950 and the current church was dedicated in 1985 to commemorate 200 years of Roman Catholicism in Korea. It was beautiful Korean Hanok style church. Spent couple of hours visiting church and its surrounding area, Han River. The church was even more beautiful after sunset.

First Korean bishop named Kim Dae Gun were sacrificed for his belief. When you pass through near Youngsan station by train, you can see it.
