★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 우리 나라 국보문화재 가운데 충북도내에는 모두 10개가 있다. 청주 3개, 충주 3개, 보은 3개, 단양1개. 그 가운데서 보은의 국보는 모두 법주사에 있다. 우리 나라에서 가장 오래된 목조건축물, 가장 높은 탑, 유일한 목탑으로 알고 있는 국보55호 22.7m의 목조5층 팔상전(法住寺 捌相殿).
팔상전 후면쪽으로 국보5호 쌍사자석등, 앞 오른쪽 개울편으로 국보64호 석련지가 있다.
그러나 관광객 상당수는 아름다운 국보문화재들 보다 산쪽방향 높이 33m 금동 미륵대불을 상징 기억하고 있다. 당초 미륵불은 1939년 충북출신 위대한 조각가 정관 김복진선생이 시멘트로 80% 조성중 6.25로 사망, 각고끝에1964년 5월 완성됐던 것이나 1986년 부숴 흔적도없이 치워졌고 1990년 청동으로 복사탄생한 것이니....

In front of Palsangjeon, there is the National Treasure No. 5 Suksa magnet, and the National Treasure No. 64 Seokyeonji is on the right side of the stream.
However, many tourists remember the 33m-high Geumdong Maitreya Buddha in the direction of the mountains rather than the beautiful national treasures. Originally, Miseung Buddha died in June 1939 when the great sculptor Jeong Bok-jin Kim, Chung Gwan from Chungbuk, died at 6.25 in 80% of cement, was completed in May 1964. .

법주사 경내로 들어가면
거의 중심부에 있는 목조건물
내부로 들어가서 볼수도 있는데
많은 불상들과 탱화들이
중심부에서 돌아가면서 있음
내부에서 볼수있는 건축 구조도 특이했으며
밖에서 보이는 여러층의 목조건물 양식이 인상적
팔상전 입구 왼쪽에 보면
신라시대에 만들어 졌다가
소실된걸 다시 재건해서
언제 보수했다는 안내표시가 있으니
한번 읽어보고 내부와 외부를
둘러보면 좋을듯 ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 우리나라 목조탑으로 유일하게 남아 있는 탑으로 정유재란 때 소실된 것을 서산대사 유정에 의해 복원된 것이다.
내부에 사천주를 세우고 사방에 흙벽을 설치후 팔상도를 설치 하였다.
팔상도 주변을 도는 탑돌이를 내부에서 할 수 있는 구조로 시계방향으로 세바퀴를 돌면 된다.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 국보51호 법주사 팔상전,,오랜역사만큼 5층목탑은 연륜과 기품을 품은 자연스레 감탄이 나오는 모습이였다,,내가 석가의 삶을 알았다면 팔상(8개의 부처의 생애를 다룬 그림)을 더 진지하게 보았을텐데 아쉬웠다,,법주사는 오랜 역사만큼 많은 고초를 겪었는데 나무로 만들어졌기에 대원군이 당백전 만들때 살아남았다 생각하니,,참 웃픈 역사인듯도 느껴진다.그리고 팔상을 비롯한 내부 촬영은 할 수 없으니 제발 민폐끼치는 행동은 하지 않았으면 좋겠다,,금동대불께서 항시 지켜보고 계신다!! 부끄럽지 않게 역사를 지켜나가는 모습이 필요하다~~
