★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing temple! The golden Buddha statue was awe inspiring, especially how high. The temple grounds were spacious with beautiful scenery and picturesque landscapes. Definitely worth the trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The temple is one of seven designated as an UNESCO National World Heitage site. Only two hours from Seoul. There is a wooden pagoda on the temple grounds considered the oldest and tallest in Korea. Excellent hiking trails in the area. Great for families. Children can play in the shallow river near the parking areas. Many restaurants and vendors in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The temple is a UNESCO world heritage and we spent one fine day here in 2020 autumn (31 Oct). We walked from the bus station to the temple and then also walked to the nearby lake, before taking a dinner at the town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All the whole of Korea the best location is a temple which is a huge area, the best spot to enjoy the landscape. The beautiful wooden pagoda, 4 kinds of different bell. You will get a holy water from here.
Before the entrance to the temple, there are a lot of fresh jujubes shops they let you taste so you can buy some after visit the temple.
