옛날 지명으로 성국사로 더 유명하지요.
지금의 지명은 오색석사이구요.
절을 오르는 계단이 있는데 그옛날 성국사가 화재로 소실되었다고 합니다. 그때에 기초 돌과 추춧돌등을 가져다가 계단 일부를 만들어서 올라가시면서 보실 수 있답니다. 특히 절앞에서의 냉수 맛은 끝내줍니다.
