Beautiful. Nothing less. There was merit at the end of the Bi-ryong trail. Nothing like it. Sheer beauty. Highly recommended for round trip within 3 hours .

Well-maintained trail that starts off in easy mode (until just past Yukdam Falls) and ends with hundreds of stairs to reach Towangseon Falls Observatory. If it's cloudy, you won't be able to see Towangseon Falls, so save your energy for another climb (like Ulsan Rock) if you want more than just exercise.

This was absolutely the best hiking trail that I have trod upon in my entire travel history. Come during the fall, around the second week of October on a weekday, where there are still fewer people before the peak season begins. Although the foliage is not as red compared to the last week of October, you can still appreciate the transitions of greens to yellows and crimsons. The trails to the waterfalls are for the beginner hiker and could take around 2 hours back and forth if you aim to take pictures during the walk. I can tell you that the journey is worth more than the actual destination. I am also in awe of the large suspension bridge nearing the end of the trail. Enjoy the view of billion-year old rock formations and serene rivers with colossal sandy white boulders. This is definitely not a trail to be missed while you're in Seoraksan, away from the busy lines of the cable cars.

The falls were great and the trail even more fun to climb. Not easy but was worth it.

A wonderful hike within the seoraksan national Park I can highly recommend it if you have 2-3 hours to do the whole thing. The first 30% is a gentle stroll on a largely sealed surface. At the bottom of the Cascade section it becomes a rocky incline traversing a series of bridges and elevation. The views of biryong falls are wonderful. However tempting the pools look I was disappointed to know that swimming is prohibited. There are two toilets along the way. Continuing for a final gruelling kilometre is the track to viewing the highest waterfall. This is a tough vertical hike with over 500 steps and a sheltered viewing platform with binoculars at the top. If you have the fitness it is well worth it.
