★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sundoubu cure in winter! Love the family-run set up, super friendly staff and absolutely great mixed grain rice, doufu was superb. Broth was well balanced and not too salty like most of the other places.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super friendly and the food was fantastic. My girlfriend ordered the seafood sundubu and I ordered the Kimchi Sundubu. Not one complaint about the taste of the food!
They bring this container full of the banchan and you pull out the amount that you would like.
One thing to note, their menu says coke but it's really Pepsi. Just a heads up for those like me that are hardcore coke fans.

One Word: TOUFU (Beancurd)
We are greeted by two elderly shop owners with warm and welcome as we go down the steps.
Myeong Dong is littered with signboards showing what you want to eat. Without them, you would never notice this small restaurant serving basically toufu stew.
It was raining the entire day and after visiting all the palaces dressed in Hanbok we decided to have something hot that will warm our stomachs. All the main dishes are paired with toufu so you have to be damn enthusiastic about toufu to eat here.
The owners are exceptionally generous with the side dishes. This is the first time ever in my history of dining in Korean Restaurants, I'm given the freedom to take as much side dishes as I want. So they have four types of side dishes namely beansprout, anchovies, kimchi, and radish. Can't remember the last side dish. I feel this is better as less wastage on side dishes you don't like. BUT wastage is chargeable if you abuse their generosity.
Tried their Sesame and Seafood flavored toufu stew as well as their rolled omelette. Surprisingly even at the end of the meal, the last piece of the omelette still taste warm. Did I forget to mention that the owners even cracked the egg for our stew? This is amazing service!! Also the first time I experience such exceeding expectations from a Korean Restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely the best kimchi tofu soup that I ever tried. They have also non spicy seaweed tofu soup which is delicious and also various choices. The Korean pancake is good (crispy outside with a bit soft texture inside) but maybe some will find it oily. Very home cooked type of restaurant run byca korean couple, they got english menu and very friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Healthy, homemade, affordable tofu stew, egg, and beef dishes!
Tofu stew comes in over 10 different varieties (beef, seafood, seaweed, kimchi, fish, etc.). Side plates of egg omelets, sliced tofu, and hand rolled beef (dduk galbi) are also available.
Tofu stew is 8000 KRW each including rice. Side plates are more expensive (omelet for 10,000 KRW, potato dumplings for 8000 KRW, and two pieces of dduk galbi for 12000 KRW) but very delicious.
They speak Eng and have Eng and Chinese menus! I brought my Chinese friend and she loved it
