★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 유네스코에 등재된 한국의 산지승원 중 하나이며 한국에서 가장 오래 된 목조건축으로 인정받는 무량수전(국보 18호)과 부석사를 창건한 의상대사의 초상이 있는 조사당(국보 19호)이 있다.
무량수전 앞 안양루에서 바라다 보이는 소백산맥의 산그리메가 아름답고 일주문과 천왕문 사이에 있는 당간지주의 조형미도 멋지고 무량수전 앞의 석등도 간결미가 뛰어나다.
무량수전의 배흘림기둥과 주심포는 볼수록 잘 다듬어진 것 같다.
의상대사가 중국에 유학할 때 도움을 주고 귀국할 때 용이 되어 뱃길을 보살폈던 선묘를 모신 선묘각이 무량수전 뒤편에 있다.
 There are Muryangsujeon Hall (National Treasure No. 18), recognized as one of the oldest wooden structures in Korea and one of the UNESCO-listed mountain monasteries in Korea, and Jojodang Hall (National Treasure No. 19) with the portrait of Master Uisang, the founder of Buseoksa.
The mountain range of the Sobaek Mountains seen from Anyangru in front of Muryangsujeon is beautiful, the formative beauty of the dangganjiju between Iljumun Gate and Cheonwangmun Gate is beautiful, and the stone lantern in front of Muryangsujeon has excellent simplicity.
Muryangsujeon's baeheulrim pillars and main simpo seem to have been polished the more you look at them.
Behind Muryangsujeon Hall is Seonmyogak, which enshrines Seonmyo, who helped Ambassador Uisang while studying abroad in China and became a dragon when he returned home.
