★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 불국사 말사인 보경사 산내암자(서운암,청련암,보현암,문수암)중 한 곳이지만 가장 높은 곳에 자리하고 있으며 보경사 창건(602년)과 함께 지어졌다고 알려져 있다. 주워들은 얘기로 해인사 경봉스님에게 가르침을 받고 불국사주지로 계셨던 농산스님이 문수암 주지로 계신다고 한다. 보경사에서 문수암까지는 약 1.5KM라고 이정표로 안내하고 있지만 체험거리는 훨씬 멀다고 느껴진다. 왜냐면 오르는 길이 워낙 갸파르고 비탈지며 다듬어진 길이 아니고 등산객이 밟아 만들어진 자연그대로 길이라 자칫 초행길엔 길을 잃어버릴 수 있겠다 싶었다.산 속은 어둠이 예상보다 일찍 내리니 초행길은 반드시 밝은 시간대 오르는 것이 낭패를 당하지 않을 것 같고, 헷갈리는 좁은길에도 안내 표지판이 거의 없어서 당황스런 순간도 맞딱드리기 때문이다.(주지스님께 물었다 길이험한데 왜 안내판 하나 없느냐고, 주지스님 왈 포항시가 예산이 부족해서 그렇지 않겠냐며 농을 던짐) 사실 문수암은 사찰분위기 보다는 그냥 평범한 낡고 오래된 시골 가정집과 같은 꾸밈없는 암자여서 더 욕심을 내려놓게 되는 것은 아닐까 싶었다.
보경사 주차장에 주차하고 걸어서 보경사(입장료 3,000원)경내로 들어와 내연산 절경을 감상하면 좋을 것 같다. 수량이 많은 날 찾아가면 크고작은 폭포와 소 그리고 금강산도 부럽지 않은 수묵화처럼 신비스런 기암괴석과 그 위로 전망대들이 만들어져 있어서 한 숨을 고르며 겹겹이 둘러싸인 산맥들과 그사이로 비집고나온 동해를 바라볼 수 있는 행운 있을 것이므로,
 It is one of the Sanaeamja of Bogyeongsa Temple (Seounam, Cheongnyeonam, Bohyeonam, Munsuam), which is the end of Bulguksa Temple. The pick-ups said that the Buddhist monk, who had been taught by the Haeinsa monk Gyeongbong, and was the governor of Bulguksa, is the chief of Munsuam. From Bogyeongsa Temple to Munsuam, it is guided by the milestone of about 1.5KM, but the experience distance feels much farther. Because the way to climb is so steep, sloped, and polished, it is a natural path made by climbers, so I thought that I could get lost on the first road. It seems like, and there are few signs on the confused narrow road, so I face embarrassed moments. (I asked Jujis and asked why there was no sign on the road. Munsuam, rather than a temple atmosphere, was just an unaffected hermitage like an ordinary old, old country house, so I wondered if it would be more greedy.
It would be nice to park in the Bogyeongsa parking lot and walk into the grounds of Bogyeongsa Temple (entrance fee 3,000 won) and enjoy the spectacular view of Naeyeonsan Mountain. If you visit a day when there is a lot of water, you will be lucky to take a breath and look at the mountains surrounded by layers and the East Sea squeezed out between them as there are mysterious rock formations and observation decks on top of them, like large and small waterfalls, cows, and Mt.
