★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 금요일 오후에 애가 유치원에 넘어져서 입술이 1Cm 가량 찢어져서 여러 병원 전전하다 결국 충남대학교병원 응급실까지 오게 되었고 자정이 가까이 되서야 치료가 시작되었는데, 간호사가 동의서에 사인 하라고 봤더니 전신마취동의서, 보통 살짝 찢어져서 꿰맬경우 부분 마취를 해도 충분한데 전신마취를 해야한대서 어쩔 수 없이 동의를 하고 수술실에 들어갔더니 의사가 또 한다는 말이 '꿰매다 보면 입술이 틀어질 수 있는데 동의하시느냐? 동의안하시면 나는 수술 못한다' 이러더라구요. 정말 의사가 저렇게 밖에 말을 못하나 생각이 들고 최소한 전공을 한 전문의(물론 응급실에는 인턴 의사겠지만)라면 어려운 수술도 아닌데 꿰매다 보면 입술이 틀어진다니. 어의가 없었지만 다른 병원도 갈 수 없는 상황이고 이미 애는 전신마취되어 누워있는 상태여서 역시 어쩔 수 없이 또 동의하고 수술하였음. 수술이 잘 됐는지 안됐는지에 대한 얘기도 없이 불러서 갔더니 연고를 주면서 잘 바르라고 그러면서 축 늘어진 애 안고 가보라고 하더라구요. 그래서 애를 안고 CT 촬영(CT는 결과도 안알려 줄거면서 왜 찍었는지 모르겠음)하고 이후 애가 회복되기를 대기실에서 기다리는데 애가 점점 깨면서 어지럽다며 바닥에 구토를 하게 되었음. 근데, 간호사 한명이 다가와서 하는 말이 '저쪽에 화장지 있으니까 가져다 바닥 닦으세요' 그러더라구요. 애가 축 늘어져서 등을 쳐가며 토하고 있는데 화장지 가져다 주면서 애 괜찮냐고 물어보는 게 아니라 바닥 드러워졌으니 휴지 갖다 닦으라니. 순간 화가나서 한마디 했더니 다른 간호사가 휴지 갔고와서 바닥을 닦았네요. 4시간 이상 기다려서 5분도 채 안되고 치료하고 결과에 대한 내용은 하나도 들은적도 없고 26만원 치료비 영수증을 보는데 정말 내가 멀 한거지 왜 이런 돈을 내고도 이런 대접을 받아야하나 자괴감이 들게 만든 곳. 의사와 간호사가 응급실이 아무리 힘들어도 환자와 환자 가족만 하겠나. 제발 의사와 간호사가 되기 전에 내가 충분히 인성을 갖추었는지 생각해 보길 바랍니다. 충분한 인성을 지니지 못한 의사와 간호사 여러분들은 제발 다른 직업 찾아보세요. 당신들에게 맞는...
