★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 근대역사관 2관 좀 많이 실망이요~ 너무 근대역사관이라는 이름이 아까울 만큼 관련 자료가 없는 곳.. 외관 빼고는 볼거리가 넘 없어요, 정보도 없고.. 또한 한 참 관람 할 시간에 방문 했음에도 청소를.. 밀대 걸래를 피해가면서 구경해야 했는데요~ 관람객들에 대한 배려가 좀 많이 떨어지더군요.. 개인적으로 장소가 너무 아까운 전시관 중 하나였습니다.
거리로 나와 개인소유가 되어버려 지금은 카페가 되어버린 옛 병원관사 였다는 이 곳 또한 좀 아쉬운 곳이였고.. 목포 여행은 여기저기 아쉬운 곳들이 많은 듯 합니다.
 Modern History Museum 2 is a bit disappointing~ A place that lacks relevant materials so much that the name of the Modern History Museum is a waste.. There is not much to see except the exterior, and there is no information.. Also, even though I visited at the right time to visit, I cleaned it.. I had to look around while avoiding the mop. The consideration for the visitors was a bit lacking.. Personally, it was one of the exhibition halls that was too precious to be a place.
It was also a bit of a disappointment that this place was an old hospital building that has become a privately owned cafe and is now a cafe.. It seems that there are a lot of places missing from a trip to Mokpo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 개인적으로 1관보다 훨씬 좋았습니다. 지금의 목포와 과거의 목포를 비교한 사진들을 여러점 볼 수 있는 점이 좋았던 것 같습니다.
Personally, I liked it much better than the first one. I think it was good to be able to see several photos comparing the present Mokpo and the past Mokpo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1관이나 2관 아무 곳에서 티켓 구입하면 1,2관 둘 다 관람 가능. 이 지역 사람이 아니라면 막 엄청 와닿는 전시 내용은 아니라고 생각된다.
2관에서는 특별 전시가 있어 1관보다 좀 더 다채로운 전시를 관람할 수 있었다!
(타 리뷰들에서도 적혀있듯이 전시 퀄리티가 빈약한 면이 없잖아있긴 함. 해설사 도움을 받는 것도 방법일듯.)
If you purchase a ticket at either Hall 1 or Hall 2, you can visit both Halls 1 and 2. If you are not from this area, I don't think the content of the exhibition really touches you.
In Hall 2, there was a special exhibition, so I was able to see more colorful exhibitions than in Hall 1!
(As mentioned in other reviews, the quality of the exhibition is not good. It seems like a way to get help from a commentator.)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 목포문화재야행 타이밍에 맞추어 방문하여 입장료는 따로 안냈는데, 입장료 냈으면 크게 돈 아까울 뻔 했습니다. 전시 자체가 빈약할 분 아니라 요즘 기준으론 좀 구태의연한 모습이 많이 보입니다.
잊지 말아야 할 역사를 현재를 사는 사람들에게 효과적으로 전달하는 방법을 많이 고민해봐야할 듯 합니다. 이렇게 해두면 누가 제대로 보기나 할지...
I visited in time for the Mokpo Cultural Heritage Night Tour, so I did not pay the entrance fee, but it would have been a waste of money. It's not that the exhibition itself is poor, but by today's standards, it looks a bit outdated.
It seems that we need to think a lot about how to effectively convey the history that should not be forgotten to the people living in the present. If you do this, who will see it properly?

My friends and I visited Mokpo Modern History Museum which happens to be the filming location of a famous Korean drama "Hotel Del Luna". The facade still gives us the vibes of the drama but the inside provides information about Mokpo's history and its rich culture.
If you're a fan of the drama, I strongly suggest that you visit this place and enjoy reenacting the scenes taken from here. ???
