★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 목포 근대역사 거리에 있는 오래된 방어시설이다. 목포시를 한 눈에 내려다 볼 수 있는데 풍광이 탁 트여 아주 좋다.
목포진으로 오르는 골목길을 걷는 재미도 쏠쏠하다.
왜색 짙은 가게와 비탈진 곳에 들어선 오래된 집들 그리고 목포진 마당을 자기집의 마당으로도 쓰는 인근 집들의 모양 등등
목포 오래된 길과 정취가 잘 배어든 곳이다.
유달산의 정자와 케이블카 다니는 모습이 잔잔히 한눈에 잡히는 곳이다.
