★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a 120 km cycle from Seoul to Chuncheon what better way to recharge with 닭갈비. We've visited 춘천 a lot and had 닭갈비 at the famous Myeongdong 닭갈비 street but I heard about this place which was away from the tourist area and decided to give it a try.
The building is very impressive and you can take a nice walk around the garden whilst you wait for your number to get called. We waited around 30 minutes and whilst we waited outside we kept getting a smell of the delcious 닭갈비 coming from inside the restaurant and we couldn't wait to get in to eat.
We ordered the 닭갈비 with cheese and 우동 noodles. Our food arrived very quickly and the staff were always around to check on our food and give it a stir and by this point our mouths were watering and we eagerly waited for our food to be cooked. Whilst we waited for the 닭갈비 to get cooked we had some refreshing radish soup which was nice and cold and crunchy with the radish and the flavour of the soup.
The moment to eat was now here and the 닭갈비 had plenty of cabbage, sweet potato, rice cake and noodles with nice melting cheese. The 닭갈비 marinade was really tasty with a curry flavour which I hadn't tasted before and was very pleasant. The spice level was mild and pleasant and you got a good taste for the marinade which had costed the juicy chicken and the vegetables and made for a very enjoyable meal.
