It's a bit difficult to find so look out for the sign in an alleyway. We came here to have dinner. The ladies were lovely and gave us English menus. When our food arrived she showed us how to make the bossam wrap. The dumplings are massive and filling. I recommend getting 4, and 6 if sharing. Good place to try out

Authentic Korean Mandu (dumplings) and other local dishes served up plain and simple. Really great, clean flavours that is not too heavy. They do have an English menu available. Queues can get long so come early when the store opens at 11:30am. Last customers usually accepted around 8:30pm even though the shop closes officially at 9:30pm

Delicious mandu well stuffed and delicate but not falling apart - flavours are subtle, definitely don't go in expecting the strong chilli and seasoning of other Korean fare. The chive and pepper pancake was fantastic as well - huge amount of chives, with little batter meaning a much lighter 0ancake than what is usually available. Definitely worth a visit.

We went there on the basis of it being listed in the Michelin Guide and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant is hidden away in a small alleyway and as we walked in, I saw a table by the window where they are making the dumplings by hand, so we knew we were at the right place. We ordered the first item on the menu, which is a dumpling soup for 2 (a mixture of normal and kimchi dumplings) and a side order of Buchimgae (Korean pancake). The soup was delicious and so were the dumplings, and 2 of us struggled to eat it all, and it was well worth it. The total bill came to around 35,000 Won or about US$30, which is pretty good.

Not too impressed but it was probably because of the high expectations of going to Michelin guide. We had 콩국수(grenenbean soup cold noodle), 녹두전(mungbean pancake), and 도토리묵(acorn jelly) set memu. All of them were decent but the prices seemed little too high for the quality. The toilet was clean. The staffs were kind and attentive. But not sure if I'd go back...

I love the history behind this place. We saw them making dumplings from the window so I ordered a variety tray and the hotpot for two. It was way too much food for two, but it was so good we ate as much as we could [during lunchtime]. The customer service is also superb. You want it? You got it, at top speed. Great experience even though you'll most likely have to wait to get in. It's worth the wait though.

Tried this mandu place in insadong that had a vegetarian option and a Michelin star. Six large mushroom mandu for 13,000. Tasty mandu, though i do prefer Jahasonmandu in buamdong. And even though these as vegetarian mandu, they still serve it with a side bowl of non vegetarian soup. Added potato pancake with the mushroom which was really good. Sorry that i didnt take photo of the food. Was hungry and ate too quickly ?

6 years in a row michelin guide selected restaurant. Best korean dimsum 만두 place in a tradional house setting. Good to bring foreign visitor.
