★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good combination of food for meat and seafood lovers as its main (and only) dish is the triple combo of local beef, shellfish, and shitake mushroom (sorry for using the japanese name..). However, nothing you cant get in Seoul.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Anyone that has lived in Korea more than a month should have noticed that not only is beef prized in Korea, it's extremely expensive compared to everything else. Jangheung is famous for Hanwoo (Korean Beef) and mushrooms.
Despite the hilarious character (see photo), these people are serious about their food. Order the Jangheung samhap from any of the big restaurants and you won't be disappointed. You select your own meat from the butcher shop inside the restaurant, then bring it with you to the grill.
The advantage to this system is that you can choose the amount, quality, and price of your meat. If you're in Boseong, Yeosu, or Suncheon and have some free time, make the trip to Jangheung. You can walk the town and possibly in and out in 2 hours or less.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The old but jovial owner welcomes you with a warm heart but her ox bone soup will more dazzle you to the point of being explored. She promised to use our KT servant robots for her soon-to-be new restaurant in the vicinity. It is a must Korean restaurant to visit.
