★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 창덕궁의 정전인 인정전의 정문으로 태종대에 창덕궁 건립 시 다른 건물들과 함께 조성되었다. 임진왜란 때 불탄 것을 광해군이 다시 조성했으며 조선 후기 효종·현종·숙종·영조 등의 여러 임금이 이곳에서 즉위식을 거행했다. 일제 때 전시관으로 쓰겠다는 이유로 주위 월랑과 함께 실내공간으로 개조 되었다가 원래의 모습으로 복원되었다.
As the main gate of Yeonjeongjeon, the main palace of Changdeokgung, it was built together with other buildings when Changdeokgung was built in Taejongdae. Gwanghae-gun rebuilt what was burned during the Imjin War, and several kings such as Hyojong, Hyeonjong, Sukjong, and Yeongjo held the crowning ceremony there. During the Japanese colonial period, it was renovated into an indoor space along with the surrounding walls for use as an exhibition hall, and then restored to its original shape.
