★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 광주시 도심에서 승용차로 삼사십여분 정도 떨어진 광산구 임곡동 임곡역 맞은편에 있는 농촌형 전원학교다. 바로옆 임곡중, 광일고와 함께 오랜세월 임곡지역 꿈나무양성에 기여하고 있으며 특히 공립초등학교의 특성상 비상사태 또는 응급상황 발생시 긴급 피난 및 지휘센터가 되는 등 지역주민들의 사랑방 역할도 병행한 지역친화적 농촌형 학교다.
It is a rural rural school located opposite Imgok Station in Imgok-dong, Gwangsan-gu, about thirty minutes away by car from downtown Gwangju. Together with Imgok Middle School and Gwangil High School next to it, it has contributed to nurturing dream trees in the Imgok area for a long time.
