도심의 멋진 경관을 볼수있는 조용한 사찰
북한산 보현봉 아래에 위치한 일선사(一禪寺)는
보현사(普賢寺), 관음사(觀音寺), 일선사(一詵寺)라고도 불렀다.
재단법인 선학원 소속 사찰이다.
신라말인 9세기에 도선국사(道詵國師)가
보현사라는 이름으로 창건했는데,
현재의 위치보다 서쪽으로 300m쯤 떨어진 자리였다.
지금도 서쪽으로 30m 떨어진 곳에 '보현굴'이라고 불리는 굴이 있다.

Ilseonsa Temple, located under Bohyeonbong Peak of Bukhansan Mountain,
It was also called Bohyeonsa Temple, Gwaneumsa Temple, and Ilseonsa Temple.
It is a temple affiliated with Sunhak Foundation.
Doseonguksa (道詵國師) in the 9th century in the Silla
It was founded under the name of Bohyeonsa,
It was about 300m west of the current location.
Even now, there is an oyster called'Bohyeongul' at a distance of 30m to the west.
