You might think that the route is complicated, but it was nice to have good signs indicating where to go without looking at the map. I wanted to visit Kim Jong-young Museum, so I went to Pyeongchang-dong, far away. The conclusion is great satisfaction! The neighborhood where the space is located is quiet and quiet, and it is very close to nature, and the museum building itself is beautiful. It is divided into the main building and the new building, has many stairs, and has a stepped structure, but the flow is very smooth and smooth. You can watch it comfortably as if flowing through the water without having to worry or find it. The exhibition is divided into permanent and special exhibitions, and both exhibitions were great. The permanent exhibition centered on the works of Mr. Jong-young Kim, and the special exhibition was an exhibition of , which was also very worth seeing. The number of works is not very large, but the planning itself is good and the selection is good. I visited around 11 o'clock on a weekday, but there were few spectators, so I enjoyed it quietly and comfortably. There are many passages leading to the inside and outside, and there are courtyard-shaped sculpture exhibition halls and gardens, so you can stroll around in a maze. It seems to be the fun of the building. There is a cafe in the museum, but the cafe itself is directly connected to the inside and outside, so many outside visitors come. The terrace surrounded by pine trees has a nice atmosphere and is worth using. Overall, the atmosphere of the neighborhood, the space, and the exhibitions that fill the space are very nice and comfortable, so I would like to visit often. I heard that 'Choi Jong-tae, The Story of Living Koo-sun' by Koo-sun's sculptor Choi Jong-tae was on display at the Kim Jong-young Art Museum in Pyeongchang-dong, so I hurried to the Kim Jong-young Art Museum before the end of this year. Kim Chong-Young Art Museum, which opened on 12/15/2002, plays a role as a museum specializing in sculpture, and continues to hold invitational exhibitions for promising young artists following the will of Kim Jong-young, a lifelong educator. In particular, this building won the Seoul Architecture Award in 2003, the Acheon Architecture Award, and the Association of Architects Special Award in 2004. Personally, I liked the exterior of the building, but the interior design was very good because it was optimized for the flow of visitors. The building consists of the main building, Bulgakjae, and the new building, Samiru, built in 2010. A permanent exhibition is held at Bulgakjae in the main building, and a special exhibition of Kim Jong-young is planned and exhibited in the entire building every spring. It was nice to be able to take a short break at the cafe (Cafe Samiru) located in the main building.
