1947년 9월 1일 오안국민학교 봉산분교장으로,
1991년 3월 1일 삼창국민학교 삼창분교장에서
오안국민학교 분교장으로 편입하였고
1996년 3월 1일 오안초등학교로 교명을 변경하였다.
교훈은 ‘나와 남을 알고 꿈을 키우는 어린이’이며,
교목은 잣나무, 교화는 철쭉이다.
6학년 6학급으로 이루어졌다.
예절교실을 운영하며, 한복 입는 날을 시행한다.
