★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Japanese Udon restaurant located near Hapjeong Station. Selected as Michelin Guide's Bip Gourmet. Using sanuki style udon noodle which is very chewy. A bowl of Udon is 8000 ~ 9000 won and a combo menu which includes several peices of sushi are 11000 ~ 14000 won.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good udon (tastes just like Japan). If you order a set udon and tempura then you'll definitely be full after! I'm not sure if they have an English menu, but there's Korean and Japanese. Very busy during lunch hour on weekdays (better to go for an early or late lunch to avoid the queue).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious Japanese scran here where fresh noodles are made in plain view of all customers. No menus in English so you better be good at reading hangul or the 3 Japanese writing systems.
Good value too. Not expensive at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No frills, hands down, This is one of the best hand-made udon place i’ve ever been to in Seoul. Udon soup broth has so clean, pure, refreshing taste to it. Noodle texture is so phenomenal!! Noodles are so chewy, muscular texture to it. Tempura is not bad but batter is thick which is still ok to me.

Food - tastes great and fresh, but not sure Michelin star level. Maybe I'm too use high Korean food quality and my standards are too high.
Still a good place to visit.
