★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 고실초는 최근 수완지구에서 가장 학생수 증가폭이 큰 학교 중 한곳이다.
2020년 현재 학생수가 1400명 이상이며 학급당 학생수가 31명을 초과하고 있다. 따라서 학생수 증가에 따른 과밀학급 해소를 위해 교실 증축공사가 진행 중이기도 하다. 바로 인근에 위치한 성덕초등학교와 비교해 볼 때 다소 기형적으로 학급당 학생수 비율이 높은 원인을 파악하고 이를 완화시키는 심도있는 검토가 필요하다는 일부 의견도 있다.

As of 2020, the number of students is over 1,400, and the number of students per class exceeds 31. Therefore, classroom extension work is also underway to resolve overcrowded classes due to the increase in the number of students. There are some opinions that an in-depth review is needed to identify the cause of the higher proportion of students per class compared to the nearby Seongdeok Elementary School.
