E	Edward Hsu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They put sticky rice inside baby chicken, I recommend the “Hanbang Samgyetang” it has more ginseng flavor than the original one. The pickle is ok after all the chicken is the leading role.

However, this restaurant establish a very bad habit that they do not allow 1 person to seat near the window seat ! Even they have plenty of window seats! They seem wait to wait for the group of customers but even no more customers they also won’t let you to seat close to window. I had encounter this more than 3 times and this seem their unfair regulation. Honestly, pls don’t expect they will treat you nicely but indeed carry some discrimination inside!Especially the keeper that old lady, 1 person they even wanna kick you out of there and they will be only happy for group or more people or you look like a Korean or real Korean. Next time if you go to visit alone, pls be prepared they will put you into kitchen or toilet to eat ! Joking but indeed not a pleasant and respectful experience! Photo! See they still got window seats available!
L	LG Tan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thick chicken soup, with tender chicken and rice inside. Sanghwang samgyetang and HAN ang samgyetang are both delicious. Customers may add salt to decide how salty they like the soup to be. Clean and big restaurant. Pleasant dinning experience.
R	Ron Ng on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing samgyetang at a place that had been featured in Seoul's Michelin guide. This place wasn't really packed when my wife and I visited on a Monday evening. It's located on the 2nd floor of a building that's filled with BBQ places. The entrance/staircase is located right across a popular tea cafe called the Alley. Apart from the samgyetang, the banchan, though simple, was pretty amazing!! Definitely recommend this place to get your samgyetang fix.

In fact I don’t quite agree with the standards of recommendation by Michelin on Asian food, particularly Japanese and Chinese food. We ordered 2 different types of Ginseng Chicken soup. Both were good, with thick soup and a whole chicken. They were using different Herbal medicine recipe but overall quite similar. There was not much Ginseng taste indeed, not what I initially expected. But overall the soup have good balance of herbal medicine, ginseng and chicken flavour. I like the chicken most. It was fresh and tender in texture, especially the chicken legs. However, you could find some even better chicken in restaurants that are famous of chicken. So I would not recommend this if you are looking for something very “Ginseng”.

The Dak Bulgogi was quite dry but flavorful nonetheless. Make sure you ask for more vegetables top up if you need more!

D	David Tan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered 2 types of chicken soup. We asked if it’s the whole ginseng and were told it would be. The disappointment came when it’s only a small cut piece. They advertised as whole ginseng & the waitress acknowledge that it will be when I asked her. We had the whole ginseng at the famous ginseng chicken near to the palace. Thus my expectation was raised and probably some communication barrier. However, the great thing is the soup broth is awesome. It’s very thick as compared to traditional watery texture.
