★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the famous temples of Seoul that you should visit. Beautiful landscape, surrounded by nature in hills of Seongbuk-dong, a neighborhood of Seoul. One of the most enjoyable ways to experience the beauty here is walk the complex grounds, hear the sonorous temple bell and see the ancient architectures. Quiet and relaxed.
Directions : Handing University Station (Subway Line 4), Exit 6. Take a Bus No 1111, 2112 or village bus Seongbuk 02 to the Temple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is an interesting and peaceful place. However, it is quite far away from anything else. With song if you have time though. The café was very cheap yet served tasty drinks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very peaceful place - there were prayers being held inside the main temple so the doors were closed and I wasn't able to see inside but you can walk around the complex- there's meditation halls and a lot of trees, a pretty serene place. Just outside the temple was the bus stop very convenient.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nicely laid out and landcaped functioning temple so be mindful when visiting. There are a lot if signs asking for quiet. Which also makes it strangely calm when it is crowded.
