★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 전라남도 순천시 낙안면 상송리 산3-2번지 금전산 기슭에 있는 사찰이다.
한국불교태고종 소속 사찰로, 순천 금전산(金錢山) 서쪽 기슭에 자리 잡고 있다. 1530년(중종 25) 간행된 에 ‘금둔사 재금전산(金芚寺 在金錢山)’이라는 기록이 있는 것으로 보아 당시 사찰이 존속하고 있었음을 확인할 수 있으나 창건시기에 대해서는 알려지지 않았다.
언제부터인지 모르나 폐사되었다가 1984년 이후 지허선사가 불사를 하여 오늘에 이른다. 금둔사에는 통일신라시대에 조성된 ‘금둔사지 삼층석탑(金芚寺址三層石塔, 보물 제945호)’과 ‘금둔사지 석불비상(金芚寺址石佛碑像, 보물 제946호)’ 등의 문화재가 있다.
사찰은 대웅전·태고선원·유리광전·약사전·설선당·산신각·범종각·일주문·요사 등의 건축물로 이루어져 있다. 대웅전은 정면 5칸·측면 3칸 규모의 팔작지붕집으로, 불단에는 협시불 없이 석가모니불만 단독으로 모셨다. 외벽에는 십우도(十牛圖)가 그려져 있는데 이 벽화는 동양화가 우현 송영방(宋榮邦)의 작품이다.

It is a temple belonging to the Taego Order of Korean Buddhism and is located at the western foot of Geumjeonsan Mountain in Suncheon. As there is a record of 'Geumdunsa Jaegeumjeonsan (金芚寺在金錢山)' in published in 1530 (25th year of King Jungjong), it can be confirmed that the temple still existed at that time, but the date of its foundation is unknown.
I do not know when, but it was destroyed, but after 1984 Seonsa Jiheo was immortalized and it is today. At Geumdunsa Temple, there is the 'Three-story Stone Pagoda at Geumdunsa Temple Site (Treasure No. 945)' and 'Stone Buddha Statue at Geumdunsa Temple Site (Treasure No. 946)' built during the Unified Silla period. The temple consists of buildings such as Daeungjeon, Taegoseonwon, Yuri Gwangjeon, Yaksajeon, Seolseondang, Sansingak, Beomjonggak, Iljumun, and Yosa. Daeungjeon Hall is a house with an octagonal roof, with 5 kan in the front and 3 kan on the side. On the outer wall, there is a painting of the Ten Udo (十牛圖), and this mural is the work of the oriental artist Song Yeongbang (宋榮邦).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 작고 아담했지만 산책코스로 괜찮았어요. 들어가는 입구 나무들이 반듯하게 쭉쭉 뻣어있는게 보기 좋았고 도로 옆쪽으로 절을 바라보고 들어설 수 있도록 절느낌의 건물이 지어지고 있었습니다.
입구에 차를 마실 수 있는 간판을 보고 들어갔으나 찻집 운영은 안하는걸로 보였습니다.
It was small and cozy, but it was good for a walking course. It was nice to see that the trees at the entrance were straight and straight, and a temple-like building was being built so that you could see the temple from the side of the road and enter.
I saw a sign for drinking tea at the entrance and went in, but it seemed that the tea house was not running.

백매화.홍매화.흑매화가 가득 피어있는
아기자기해보이나 실제로 들어가보면 꽤 넓은 금둔사
입구도 공사중이고 앞으로 발전할것이 기대되는곳입니다. 내년 매화시즌에 꼭 다시 오고픈곳

It looks cute, but when you go inside, it's actually quite spacious.
The entrance is also under construction and is expected to develop in the future. A place I want to come back to next year during the plum blossom season.
