★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 첫번째 방문때 아주 맛있게 먹었던 집이어서 재방문하였다. 다소 올갱이 양은 줄어든것 같은데 그래도 맛은 역시 좋았다.
It was a very delicious place to eat on my first visit, so I went back again. Although the amount of olgaeng decreased slightly, the taste was still good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A truly unique/unusual restaurant (particularly for a Westerner like me) and probably one of the few of its kind in the modern world. They specialize in olgaengiguk, a soup made from marsh snails (also called melanian snails, genus: Semisulcospira). It was a surprisingly light soup, with a refreshing feel and some bitter/vegetal afternotes. The snails themselves did not taste like much, but had a nice chewy texture (and a beautiful color).
Our servers were very gracious and accommodating, and quite generous with the banchan spread. I am thankful I had Korean friends to show me this place; otherwise, I would've missed out on a very cool experience!
