술먹은 다음날 가벼운 시래기된장국 해장에 참 좋다.
The price is not bad because the price is too loose.
The next day after drinking a light siraegi miso soup is very good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 남천식당 ... 가격이 진심 착하다 ... 착한것은 가격뿐 아니라 ..친절하시고.. 음식맛은 편하게 한끼 하기는 좋아요... 2500원.. 술 한잔 하고 속 편한 해장하기는 내 개인적으로는 괜찮다는 생각입니다
다소 공간이 협소 할 수 있으나.. 뭐 시장이니..주차는 공영주차장이나 주변에 하시면 될듯
Namcheon Restaurant ... The price is really good ... The good thing is not only the price .. They are friendly.. The taste of the food is good... 2,500 won. I think it's ok
The space may be a bit narrow, but.. What is a market? You can park in a public parking lot or nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This old restaurant at the corner of Sangju's local market has been selling Siraegi soup for over 80 years. (시래기; Siraegi is dryed leaves and stems of a radish). An old granny and her daughter opens the place at 4 in the morning for people working at the market.
The soup is nothing special except for the fact that it is boiled and cooked in huge caldrons. You can choose whether to put a raw egg in your soup. I don't think it particularly affects the taste, simply guessing it is a traditional custom to add more nutrients in soup.
A bowl of soup with rice costs only 2,500 won. It was even much cheaper when I was a little kid. This local meal is definitely far from a fancy cuisine, but it is a favourable dish with old memories for millions people in the region.
