This museum was free or very inexpensive as I remember. It was just 3 floors tall, just about right for a museum. So it wasn't really big where you miss stuff. And yet it wasn't too small either. Also there is modern history with photographs, that you see the change over time. It was very impressive in several ways. It is right next to the Cheongyecheon, so you can easily walk to some of the photographic locations. I particularly liked the ariel photograph of Seoul, so you could see where you were compared to where the Cheongyecheon is. Also the life sized and minutiae village were fascinating to view.

Free and well designed museum about the "Stream". Well planned and good story telling. Pity , little remains of the original shanty towns except the shops right in front of the museum. The stream is an integral part of the ancient city hence the stream is an important part of history. Korean museums are top quality even though this is a limited museum. You know they put much effort and attention to details.

Great museum for learning about the history of central Seoul and the redevelopment of Cheonggyecheon stream. Fairly small but many multimedia and interactive displays. Most of the information is given in English as well as Korean and there are leaflets available in various languages. You need to go up the escalator outside the building and then enter. You start at an upper floor and work your way down to the ground floor. My favourite part was a room with projections on each wall, as well the floor showing life during the Joseon period at one bridge along the river. This is actually past the exit doors at the end of the main exhibition. Theres a reception desk on your right and the exit on your left but its worth it to keep going to the room at the end past the toilets to see this exhibit.

This has been the best museum I've been in in Seoul and it was very interesting because I walk along this River all the time and now I know a very in-depth history about it. There is everything is translated into English Korean and Mandarin and it's very very nice good for a hour-long break in the day
