This is place to go. Jihee is the best. Her assistants are great. The school is great. The food we cooked was fantastic. I will go back again to learn additional Korean cuisines. I highly recommend visiting OME for a cooking class.

Wednesday we spend a whole afternoon at the OME cooking lab near Dongdaemun. With a max. number of 4 participants the atmosphere is personal and cozy. Our chef Jihee explained a lot about the different dishes and ingredients. It was a fun way to learn more about the Korean culture and their amazing food! After cooking and eating together we even received the OME cooking book with the recipes of all dishes. It was absolutely worth it! Thank you OME cooking lab and Jihee especially.

The time is fully packed but at a causal and joyful ambience. The host and staff are super friendly and accommodating. They can also share travel suggestions and recommendations with you. The only area for enhancement could be cutting down the number of dishes so more time can be allocated to giving more details and allow more practice with each participate. Tips: there are different enrollment channels so if you come across one that ask you to provide copy of your travel document and you don't feel comfortable with it, look for other agent. I did.

The instructors are very knowledgeable and more than happy to share their recipes. All cooking instructions are communicated clearly and effectively, in both English and Korean. I highly recommend the chicken and beer class, it's a hugely popular dish here in Korea! The chicken we cooked was delicious and there was also a lot of soju to sample afterwards! Great value for money and a very fun way to spend a few hours of your day.

We made several different dishes including Gimbap, Bulgogi, and Tteokbokki, and enjoyed them later together with Jihee. The food was delicious and we are very happy with the whole experience :) We had such a great afternoon! Definitely recommend booking a cooking class with OME Cooking Lab and I would 100% book again.

The foods are delicious and the teacher is so fun! Ome cooking lab is awesome! They're so considerate with moslem. They knew we only eat halal food, so they prepared halal meat and also they have separate pan fryer with halal label. It was a fun cooking class!

The way ingredients are grown and cultivated, the process in which dishes are made, and, of course, the way the end-product tastes all offer a glimpse into the heart (or should I say stomach) of a place. And what better way to get a glimpse into Korean culture than by attending a cooking class and learning from someone who understands these aspects and wants to share the beauty of Korean cuisine with others. Thank you OME Cooking Lab for this incredible experience! I am so grateful for all of the happy memories I was able to create and for being able to learn so much about Korean cuisine~ until next time!
