While most reviews are about the train station itself, I would like to touch on the unsung heroes of Yongsan (龙山) Station.
A little background story here. I chanced upon this toasted sandwich stall while traveling from Hongik Uni. Station and I tried their sandwich before trying ISAAC’s toasted sandwich. Now I am writing this review after trying ISAAC’s sandwich and coming back to reminisce the taste of simplicity.
So here I am again ordering the same sandwich. There is not much variation which explains the simplicity. The ingredients are Ham, Egg, Cheese with ketchup and a special herb spread. The combination of salty and sweet is
delightful when found within the toasted sandwich.
There is an English menu available and Vegetarian options as well. Other than toasted sandwich, waffle is available as well but served either plain or with apple jam and whipped cream.
Simple drinks are available as well. Though there are not in-house seating, benches are found all over the train station. Next time when you are passing by Yongsan Station from Hyochang Park Station, do stop by and grab a bite to fuel you for the remaining journey.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A huge gargantuan train station. It has the 1 and the ktx and itx trains here. It has has ktx than seoul station. Real busy and packed. Has a shopping mall right next to it and an emart. Lot's of restaurants and coffee shops.
