★ ★ ★ ★ ★ S$19 samyamtang. Open since 1960 ... Superb quality and portion is big compare to others so call original samyamtang. Clean, spacious and comfortable restaurant located inside myeongdong. Rain tonight do not stopped people from around the world coming in. The ginseng aroma infused the entire outlet making you waiting wants even more. Meat is so fresh, tasty and tender it slice open when you slit like a tissue paper. Bon apetit everyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the best place for Korean ginseng chicken soup and fried chicken. It is really good and one of the must try for your trip to Seoul and myeondung. I think the chicken is grown by themselves as it is not very fatty. Yummy

We had the sesame ginseng chicken for 18,500. this was the most ive spent on a meal and it was pretty well made. there was a whole chicken in a thick broth with dates and ginseng. the glutneous rice was stuffed in the chicken. If you're willing to spend the money its worth a try. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ “If the restaurant sells many items, it’s not good.” This restaurant only sells chicken. Got the seasame ginseng soup w rice and a plate of fried chicken. Soup was flavourful, the fried chicken tops it! Crispy, not oily, meat was tender, not dry, minimally salted.
Worth a shot if you have the time.

Maybe execpt for attitude of master of the restourant, it was good.
