★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yang yang traditional market is a must if you are in the area visiting Sokcho beach or hiking in Seoraksan national park. You can buy a variety of fresh seafood, tons of kinds of mushrooms, vegetables, fruta and more. It's a lively place. It might be difficult to shop though without Korean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visit at late afternoon you can find a delicious pear at here also Matsutake (Chinese and Japanese: 松茸, Korean: 송이,pine mushroom, Tricholoma )
It is a very expensive mushroom. On 23rd -27th October at Yang Yang town there is Salmon festival you can get a ticket(30,000w/person) and catch alive salmon by hand ( check the schedule before )
