False promises & garbage service. It took over 3 months to get my suit and mess dress made.

I visited several tailor shops around Osan, Asan, and Pyeongtaek in order to compare prices, inspect the material, and talk face to face with the owners. I wanted to ensure that the quality and professionalism of the Tailor shop met my expectations prior to placing an order for a custom suit. World Custom Tailor came out on top for me and is now my exclusive go-to tailor shop. The owner is very friendly and is extremely talented. she has over 30 years of experience as a tailor. She started out with making custom sports wear (ski suits, wetsuits, waterproof kits, etc.) and then switched solely to suits. So she has the talent and is very well rounded. She speaks great English as well, so no need for a translator. The cost of her service is competitive and very reasonable. There is an automatic surcharge if you use a credit card, so I recommend using cash. There is an ATM three minutes walk away. Selecting the suit you want is a daunting task. It’s not a grab and go process like a mall. But don’t worry, she is happy to walk you through the process and give you advice. First, you select the color and type of cloth for your suit. She has an enormous selection of quality material. Hundreds of different shades, pin stripes, patterns, etc. Then you select what type of cut and cuffs you want. (She has them all on display so all you have to do is point and grunt.). Finally, she helps you select the shirt and tie that best matches your outfit. Once you are complete with your selections, you discuss the schedule and make an appointment for fittings. She is flexible on the payment as well; all up front, 50/50, etc. This is the best tailor shop around. But don’t take my word on it, shop around and compare like I did. I’m confident you will come to the same conclusion. Cheers.
