★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 정유재란 때, 조선 선조 31년 11월 18, 19일 조선의 이순신과 명의 전린의 조명 연합군이 승리한 노량해전이 일어난 곳으로 이순신이 순국하신 곳이다. 임진왜란 이후 전열을 재정비하고 다시 조선을 넘봤으나 명량해전에서 패배하고 토요토미가 병사하여 철수하던 중 이순신과 전린의 조명연합군에게 대패하였다. "내 죽음을 아무에게라도 알리지 말라"라는 말을 하고 순국하신 곳이다.
During the time of the Joseon Dynasty, on November 18th and 19th, the 31st of the Joseon ancestors, Yi Sun-shin of Joseon and the lighting alliance of Myung Jeon-rin took place in the Battle of Noryang, where Yi Sun-shin died. After the Imjin War, the line was rearranged and crossed over to Joseon again, but was defeated in the Battle of Myeongnyang and Toyotomi died as a soldier and was withdrawn by Lee Sun-sin and Jeon-lin's allied lighting forces.
