★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tongiljeon is a memorial hall commemorating the unification of the three kingdoms of Silla, Baekje and Goguryeo. There are three stone monuments of King Taejongmuyeol, King Munmu and General Kim Yu-sin. Because it is not mentioned widely, few visitors are found here making it a tranquil site. The location of the hall is at the end of Tongil-ro which is lined with ginkgo trees. It is an awesome sight when one looks down the pictureque area from the highest entrance of the hall. It is the most beautiful place I have been while in Gyeongju.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ beautiful scenery and worth visiting, its a historical place of the Silla dynasty .its a well preserved historical site and its location is accessible with good public and private transport. its is an interesting site to visit if you are interested in the history of Korean.
