★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another adventure to partake in Pyeongtaek, South Korea. There are all kinds of items here one would expect at a fresh/farmers market. Live octopus, mussels, oysters, crabs, and exotic seafare like sea cucumber. There's all kinds of fresh butchers items like chicken and pork, and many different spices, grains, and other items. Bring cash, don't forget to haggle a bit on prices, and come check the quickly-disappearing markets that used to be all over the place in America. Take the 20 bus from Anjong-ri to get here, it's two stops before AK Plaza

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were looking for authentic Korea and we found it at the Tong Bok Market. This is a market for Koreans selling fresh produce, fresh seafood (still alive), meat, fresh prepackaged Korean side dishes, etc. We ate fresh cooked snacks at a couple vendor stalls, and picked up drinks at one of the convenience stores inside. Watch for scooters, bicycles, and older gentlemen playing Go!
