★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Like many of the places in the Sinjang Shopping District, this place fluctuates on quality. Since the name change (used to be Spice Village) it is on the upswing. The staff has always been polite and willing to answer my questions. The food is flavorful and the sauces are excellent. They do have to make some substitutions from what they would use if they were in India because the ingredients simply aren't available here, but unless you're from India or a very good connoisseur you'd be hard pressed to notice. I definitely recommend if you like or want to try Indian for the first.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We enjoyed our meal. My wife had the Chicken Masala and partnered it with Garlic Nan. I got Chicken Vandoolo with Garlic Cheese Nan. The flavor is rich and flavorful. If you like fast food this is not a place for you. They make their food to order so you know that they really take good care of making it. We will definitely come back to this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Curry was good and hot. The meat was all cold. It was like they took it out of the refrigerator and tried to warm it. It definitely was NOT fresh. The jeera rice was good. The Naan bread was burned on the bottom and was barely warm. I don't think we will be eating there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautifully decorated, small place on second floor. Don't be fooled. Food is spicy AF! Good, but spicy. The lamb was pretty rubbery but nicely flavored. The chicken was great. Naan bread was on point. See pics. Definitely recommend. Although they changed the name of the place to The Taj Palace.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Garlic and cheese naan is delicious!!! And so is the garlic chicken masala. The chicken biryani is okay. The chicken in the rice is super dry. I would have given it 5 starts but we heard a microwave go off... hopefully not all the food is microwaved. Also this place is called Taj palace not spice village.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was very flavorful! The service was outstanding! The chicken masala and the garlic cheese naan was delicious! The wait staff were very helpful with assisting me with selecting the right menu item for the evening. I can't say enough good things about this Indian restaurant! I can't wait to get back there and try more of their menu items. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for some delicious Indian food!
