★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family often eat breakfast at the hotels during the weekends, and we came by this one in the first floor of a five star Coex Intercontinental hotel.(not to be confused with another Intercontinental near Parnas)In short, probably the WORST food quality among the hotels that charge you the same amount.The staff are definitely inexperienced. The only reason I can think of for this restaurant to be maintained are the sheer number of Chinese tourists. I wish I can tell them they can get much better quality hotel breakfast at the same price with better environment.As I write this, a couple walked out literally saying the food is ‘absolute disaster’ Couldn’t have agreed more. I feel sorry for my stomach on a Sunday morning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good selection of korea food, but a lot of the food looks better than it tastes, especially the deserts. Every table gets served some small slices of steak and a small grilled lobster cut in half. The steak was over cooked and the lobster was well a one biter and only given one time. There was lamb chops...again a bit overcooked. King crab legs...not super fresh and a little hard to get the meat out...when cooked right you should be able to just break the legs in two and easily slide the meat out. My favorite items from the buffet was the curried crab and the sticky rice and beans. Over all I did not feel it was worth almost $100 per person. Service staff I have to say was very good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s about $85 per person for lunch, unless you are lucky like me. My friend had a two for one coupon which makes this buffet a steal. Great options from salads to sushi to meat station. The double thick lamb chops were my favorite. But truly the sushi was way above average for this type of buffet. There were several types of cook to order dishes and lots of sea food options. The staff were friendly and quick to respond and spoke excellent english. One thing to note is beer, sparkling water and other beverages other than tea, water or coffee are extra cost.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I plan on writing two reviews for this place. This one will focus on their breakfast offering (which i got to experience over a 10 day stay). I will write again after trying them out for lunch during holidays (which I understand has a much more extensive menu)
-this is a buffett restaurant, and for breakfast, the offering is acceptable, but nothing memorable or unique. They are all very acceptable, in fact, but nothing really stands out that one would want second servings (fyi, 5 sections: warm food, korean+noodles+grains/cereals, salads+cheese, baked goods and fruits)
-baked goods is the weakest of what they have. If you expect freshly backed sourdough or even a baguette, you will be disappointed
If you get breakfast as part of your room rate, then great. If not, I would be hard pressed to pay for this. For around the same price, i would make the effort of heading to the Park Hyatt (less menu items but much better quality)
One other thing - the staff here are super nice. One additional star from what was a 3-star rating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably one of the most high end buffets in korea. 100,000/person for dinner during the weekend.
Service: 5* very attentive and cook talks with customers if they are not too busy.
Food: 5* steak and lobster are the highlights with hagaan daz ice cream for dessert
Atmosphere: 5* Quiet and only 1/3 full during what should be the busiest times. (Probably due to covid)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel and decided to visit the buffet at the Brasserie.
There is a wide selection of food available but it is limited compared to the buffet available at the Grand Intercontinental Paranas.
The hot section consisted of fried shrimp and potatoes, lamb chops, steak, meat balls, dim sum, fried rice and some other thing's that weren't special. At these buffets I always look forward to the lamb chops as it's one of my favourite meats that I don't always get to eat and steak is always a treat. Other than these 2 meats the rest of the dishes were just OK and nothing stood out as being outstanding.
The fresh fish counter is next and there is a selection of cold seafood salads which didn't look too appetising and there were other side dishes. The sushi and sashimi was very limited to shrimp, salmon and tuna but nothing that stood out as being fresh.
The selection of cheese and breads were good and the cheese was kept on a cooling plate and wasn't left to sweat and it went well with the cranberry bread and sour dough bread.
The final section was the dessert section and when I saw Häagen Dazs I knew if anything else wasn't good for dessert then the ice cream would be and I was right. The cakes were constantly being changed over and the desserts in a cup looked pretty but it was all mediocre and all seemed to have a similar cake batter taste. The Häagen Dazs was definitely the best part of dessert.
