★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place! Food was delicious (I had a rib/pulled pork platter), the staff were very kind (I-ru was very helpful!) and the restaurant nicely laid out and decorated.
Sweet Oak is definitely worth a stop by if in the Wonju area!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sweet Oak has a comfortable and cozy atmosphere, they have a fireplace in there during the winters when I visited and they even had a Christmas tree up. The food was delicious and it was quite surprising to find something like this in Wonju. I look forward to going again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent American style BBQ with a great choice of sides. This place also has a wood burning fireplace which is wonderful in the cold winter months.
They have a special for wings on Monday night, and their meat platters are a decent deal as well. Very tasty!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not exaggerating when I say this, but this is probably the best bbq outside of the US. Some of the complaints I'm reading are about American bbq in general , not Sweet Oak (i.e. expecting the meat to come sizzling hot as if it were grilled when in fact it's smoked). Well worth the trip outside of Seoul.
