★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 수리산성지는 우리나라 두 번째 사제이신 최양업신부님의 부친 최경환프란치스코 성인이 잠들어 계신 곳입니다.
최경환프란치스코 성인은 충남 청양에서 출생하여 3 대째 신앙을 지켜왔으나 최양업신부님을 마카오로 유학 보내신 후 고발을 빙자한 수많은 협잡배들로 인해 가산을 탕진하고, 가족과 함께 이곳저곳을 떠돌다가 마지막으로 수리산 골짜기에 정착하여 박해를 피해 온 교우들을 모아 교우촌을 가꾸고 전교회장직을 맡아 활발하게 선교활동을 하셨습니다.
1939년 기해박해 때 서울에서 내려온 포졸들에게 체포되어 부인과 자식들과 함께 옥에 갇혀 수난을 겪으시고, 1839년 9월 35세의 나이로 포도청 옥에서 순교하였습니다.최경환프란치스코 성인은 1925년 시복되었고, 1984년 바오로2세 교황님에 의해 시성되었습니다.
이곳 성지에는 순교자성당과 최경환성인의 고택을 복원한 고택성당, 십자가의 길, 묵주기도의 길, 최경환프란치스코성인 묘, 야외 미사터 등이 조성되어 있습니다.
Surisan Holy Ground is where Saint Francis Choi Gyeong-hwan, the father of Father Yang-eop Choi, the second priest in Korea, is sleeping.
St. Francis Choi Kyung-hwan was born in Cheongyang, Chungcheongnam-do and has maintained the faith for the third generation, but after sending Father Yang-eop Choi to Macao to study abroad, he wasted his money due to numerous scoundrels claiming to be accusing him, wandering here and there with his family, and finally settled in the valley of Suri Mountain. As a result, he gathered the church members who had escaped persecution, cultivated the alumni village, and took on the role of president of the entire church and actively engaged in missionary activities.
During the Gihae Persecution in 1939, he was arrested by police officers who came down from Seoul and was imprisoned with his wife and children and suffered hardships. In September 1839, at the age of 35, he was martyred at the age of 35. Canonized in 1984 by Pope Paul II.
In this holy site, there are the Martyr's Cathedral, the restored old house of St. Kyunghwan Choi, the Way of the Cross, the Way of the Rosary, the Tomb of St. Francis Choi Kyunghwan, and an outdoor mass.

기묘사화때 순교하였으며, 부인 마리아와 함께 추모하는 성지이며, 이들과 함께 여러 성인, 복자님들을 기리는 기념비가 모셔져 있습니다.
