I do not have any idea why. They're just must be something about the particular arrangement of non fabric columns, lack of things hanging on the wall, flat surfaces that make Echoes, and noisy people that combined in this single location to make the noise level here 10 times greater than any other Starbucks in the known universe.

The guy at checkout smiled more than counter staff usu does and offered me a paper menu when I appeared to be struggling to see the menu board. Tried the new chestnut black tea latte. Very grainy. Will prob try the vanilla one next time for a sweeter option.
