책 읽고 책 만드는 마을을 만들고자 조성한 마을로, 나만의 책 만들기를 비롯해 한지만들기 체험 등 출판캠프를 통해 누구나 작가가 될 수 있는 공간입니다. 특히 지역공동체를 비롯해 고창군 해리면을 중심으로 다양한 소식을 전달하는 지역신문을 연재하고 있으며, 전북이 중심이 되어 발발한 동학농민혁명을 어린이를 대상으로 하여 연재하기도 합니다.
